Phil Joynes

Phil has extensive experience in Government procurement, contract, and project management and has spent over 20 years working in or alongside the Department of Defence. Prior to moving into the public sector, Phil had over 5 years of commercial experience within the building and facilities management sector having performed a variety of roles relating to the design, development, and delivery of efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable installations and maintenance regimes for a diverse range of public and private customers. Phil holds the rank of Deputy Captain within the NSW Rural Fire Service and enjoys contributing to organisational change and the transferring of knowledge to improve the culture and functionality of his Brigade. Phil holds tertiary qualifications in management and project management.
