Master an easily applied framework for strategic planning and implementation across teams. Boost personal impact and presentation skills for pitching to the C suite and board.
Introduction
The Senior Managers Program develops key skills needed to excel in senior level roles. The first half of the program focuses on strategy and decision making, with participants learning a 5-step strategic planning framework and applying it to a business simulation in which syndicates run competing firms. Each “year” of the simulation broadens the choice set from narrow in year 1 (marketing, product pricing, channel) through the middle years 2-4 (adding choices in production planning and capacity planning/investment, product quality, product development and operations) through to years 5 and beyond when the syndicates have full control over all business decisions including capital management, financing, dividends and acquisitions.
The second part of the program is split between interactive sessions with interesting senior executives sharing their personal stories, and presentation skills development focused on pitching your ideas for response, specifically how to make the most of opportunities to gain support for ideas from the C Suite and Board.
